Lesson of Love

Teary eyed, broken hearted.
Love is lost, and souls are parted.

Teen dreams with lively thoughts;
Roaming minds are bitterly taught.

Going on seems eternally useless.
Still, that time remains forever priceless.

Does it get any better than it was?
Only time will tell, just because.

Years to pass, a lively lass!
Tears have dried in her brown eyes.

Once again love found the heart,
and this time, will never part.

Two families joined in matrimony.
No more games, nothing phoney.

Compassion, companion, a life worth living.
No more the teary teen, now, a mature being.

With silver locks draping the shoulders,
knowing now, love comes in boulders.

Holding high on the mountain top...
to this long love, there is no stop.

...and life goes on with bounding joys
to the family adding new girls and boys.

This is the life in a comfort zone,
never more to feel alone.
